JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – Florida Women‘s Law Group, divorce and family law for women, is proud to announce the appointment of owner, Heather Quick, to the Florida Bar Family Law Section’s Continuing Legal Education and Domestic Violence Committees for 2019-2020. Heather has served on The Florida Bar Family Law Section Rules Committee since 2014.
The Florida Bar’s Family Law Section focuses on areas of divorce, relocation, adoption, modification, alimony and child support. Within the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee, Heather will be working with the team to plan, schedule and produce all programs pertaining to the Section, including lectures, legislation updates, and seminars. The Domestic Violence Committee focuses on bringing issues to public attention while improving Florida’s DV practice.
Heather’s appointment to these committees will provide a close working relationship with the Legislation and Publications Committee for the Florida Bar. Heather is also an active member in the Jacksonville Bar Judicial Relations Committee, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association and is a contributing writer to the Florida Bar Book.
