Catheline Georges, Associate Attorney

Catheline “Cat” Georges is an associate attorney at Florida Women’s Law Group serving clients across Northeast Florida. She focuses on family law and works with people who are going through divorce, custody questions, or other changes that affect their family and daily life. Her work centers on helping clients understand their options and feel more grounded during a time that often feels uncertain.

In practice, Cat spends a lot of time listening. She pays close attention to what matters most to each client and tries to meet them where they are, not where they think they are supposed to be. Clients often experience her as steady and thoughtful, especially when emotions are running high. She values clear conversations and realistic planning, and she takes care to explain things in a way that feels manageable rather than overwhelming.

Her path to family law started with a strong interest in how systems affect people on a personal level. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida, studying political science along with communications and criminal justice.  Over the past eight years, she has focused her legal work exclusively on family law, developing her judgment through hands-on experience and continued involvement in the legal community, including the Florida Bar and the Inns of Court.

Outside of work, Cat enjoys staying active through Pilates and traveling whenever she can, often planning trips that allow her to explore new places and cultures.
