

Julia McLaughlin, Associate Attorney
Julia McLaughlin is a seasoned Associate Attorney at Florida Women’s Law Group with an impressive legal career spanning 37 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Princeton University in 1984 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1987. Julia is a current member of the Florida Bar Association and has been involved with several legal organizations, including the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association and the Inns of Court.
Julia’s professional journey includes serving as Former President of the Betty Griffin Board of Directors and volunteering as a Practice Judge for the Florida Coastal School of Law Moot Court Team. With 19 years as a professor in family law and 18 years of practice in the field, she brings exceptional insight and depth to her work. Julia has also authored several publications, including “The Best Interest of the Child.” Her extensive experience, scholarly contributions, and dedication to women’s rights reflect her unwavering commitment to advancing the practice of family law.
