Lisa Dawson, Associate Attorney

Lisa Dawson is a Florida-based family law attorney who works with individuals and families across Northeast Florida. Her practice focuses on family law matters, and her work centers on helping people make steady, informed decisions during difficult personal transitions.

She focuses on guiding clients through emotionally charged situations with clarity and patience. In practice, that means taking time to explain the process, answering questions honestly, and helping clients feel grounded rather than rushed. Her path to family law began in New York, where she earned a business degree from the College of Mt. St. Vincent before completing her law degree at the Cardozo School of Law. During law school, she participated in the Family Law Clinic, which shaped her interest in working directly with families. After moving to Florida more than twenty years ago, she built a career focused almost entirely on family law, bringing long-term perspective and consistency to her work.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, watching documentaries, and following sports, often spending that time with her family and pets.
