JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – NOVEMBER 16, 2015 – Heather B. Quick, CEO and Managing Attorney of Florida Women’s Law Group is the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Women Helping Women category and Female Entrepreneur of the Year category in the 12th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2015 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners on Friday, November 13th during a dinner event attended by more than 400 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

More than 1,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year, among others. Heather B. Quick won the Silver Award in the Women Helping Women category as well as the Female Entrepreneur of the Year category.

Heather B. Quick is the founder and CEO of the only divorce and family law firm for women in Northeast Florida, Florida Women’s Law Group, located in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Quick is a member of the St. John’s Bar Association and Jacksonville Bar Association; Chair of the Judicial Relations Committee. She is in the second term of a three year appointment to the Family Law Rules Committee for the Florida Bar. Ms. Quick has authored three books: Women’s Guide to Divorce in FloridaIs Divorce Right for You? and Women’s Guide to Becoming A Successful EntrepreneurShe’s featured in Jacksonville Magazine’s Best Lawyers edition as well as rated AV Distinguished® by Martindale Hubbell and Superb by AVVO. Ms. Quick sits on the board for the Ponte Vedra YMCA, Ponte Vedra Women’s Club and is an active PTO participant at the two schools her children attend in Ponte Vedra.
